People who cannot find recreation without big hotels, permanent entertaining by holiday reps or plastic-ids around the wrist should avoid Nikiti - but sun, sea and a picturesque landscape will be offered "all-inclusive" and without charge.

Of course we have many tourists and tourist services, car-rentals, pharmacies, cash-dispensers and a beach promenade, which in high season provides taverns, pizzaries, ice-cream parlours and loads of hawkers; there is an Internet-Café and some WiFi/WLANs . Nikiti Village has five small or medium-sized hotels, four of them are run by the owners. Besides those accomodations many Nikitians rent private rooms or apartments in summer.

However, when the (greek) tourists have left around 20. of August the Nikitians will return to their main source of income: agriculture - Olives, sheep-and goat flocks and a lot of beekeeping. Nikiti produces 20 % of the Greek honey and they distil an almost "thaumatologic" beverage here... the local experts at least spend whole evenings ascribing to Tsipouro therapeutical effect on nearly everything.
